Traditions Bind the Ellis Community
Ellis Elementary is the oldest operating elementary school in the state of Utah so it's no surprise that traditions run deep. Much of the staff has been there for many years and the teachers, families, and staff are truly a family.
Currenty their Reflections event is in full swing, and many children are working on their creative projects for submission. Parents help with our monthly birthday table where each child gets to eat lunch on the stage and choose a fantastic new book as a gift from the PTA. This year they hosted a wonderful fall movie night at the school with over 150 in attendance. Ellis Elementary just completed their Red Ribbon week, and of course the legendary Spook Alley.
They will using the month of November to serve their community by holding their annual clothing drive on November 16th where many community partners have donate time, money and clothing to help and bless others. They will also be participating in a food drive to benefit the local food pantry.
Ellis has so many reason to be proud of the traditions that really do bind them together.
