Maker Clubs

Maker Clubs enjoy the benefits of regular access to the LHS MakerSpace and its equipment.  School and Community Groups may apply for club status with the LHS MakerSpace.  Maker Club status is evaluated on the overall benefit to the educational outreach efforts of the Logan City School District (LCSD).

Notification:   The LHS MakerSpace operates in compliance with all district policy, including district facility use policy and club policy.  LCSD reserved the right to refuse access to the LHS MakerSpace or club status to any group or individual in accordance with established policy and governance procedures.


Cache Makers offers maker experiences to community youth throughout Cache Valley.  Maker partnerships help us all create more opportunities for everyone involved the maker movement.  Volunteer, bring your kids, and explore making in Logan, Utah!


    AM STEM Robotics      

    Project 1

    Students enroll in coursesbroadcast from Bridgerland Technical College (BTC), provided to every high school in the Northern Utah region.  Student may earn high school credit in the competency-based courses or concurrent credit applicable to multiple post-secondary degree options.  Scholarships and internships await students willing to prove themselves by earning industry certifications.

    IT Service Desk: Get real world experience servicing faculty, staff, and students' personal machines and devices.  Students enroll in courses broadcast from Bridgerland Technical College (BTC).

    Green Car Competition

    Each year GEAR UP students across Utah spend countless hours designing and building electric cars.

    Vex Robotics Competition

    Project 4  

    Each year Bridgerland Technology College (BTC) hosts the largest VEX Robotics Competition in the State of Utah.

    eSports Team

    Project 5 

    Gaming programmers are in high demand and eSports is one of the best ways to experience and learn about this industry.  LHS sponsors an eSports Team and placed in the top four in the nation in 2017.


    Project 6  

    With the help of mentors from nearby students are learning to defend the cyber realm by participating in an annual competition known as ‘CyberPatriot.’


    LCSD Elementary Schools are invited to expand there STEM offerings through after school field trips to the LHS MakerSpace for help with special projects.
