Applications are now being accepted for full-time AmeriCorps Fellow positions for the 2019-20 school year. AmeriCorps personnel organize and administer reading or math remediation programs in the elementary schools. Full-time positions require a minimum of 1700 service hours for a $15,000 living allowance. At the end of each service year, members are given a $5,550 educational award to use toward payment of student loans, school tuition, fees, and or books.
