Welcome To
Logan City School District

Logan City School District has served the city of Logan, Utah since 1872. We serve approximately 5,200 students from PreK -12th grade. We have 1 high school, 1 middle school, 6 elementary schools, an early childhood center and a special education preschool. Our Superintendent is Frank Schofield (his experience). Our Business Administrator is Jeff Barben (his experience).

Our responsibility as a school district is to help every student develop the attitudes, behaviors, and skills that will promote their success in whichever path they choose after graduation. For the this reason, the mission of the Logan City School District is to... "Ensure that all students leave our schools ready to create a positive future for themselves and their communities."

Number 1.
The Logan City School District has a Strategic Plan in place where teachers, coaches, parents and students work together in the students learning, testing and personal responsibility that grows throughout their education. This leads to our graduates being academically, emotionally, technologically and ethically prepared for their next phase of life. They are able to collaborate and communicate with others and are resilient and adaptable as challenges appear along the way.

Number 2.
Dual Language Immersion Program
Logan City School District houses their Portuguese and Spanish DLI programs at The World Language Academy at Hillcrest Elementary. Any student can apply to attend. Bussing is provided from all Logan City School District elementary schools. DLI Education continues into their secondary education all they way through graduation with the potential of earning Utah's Seal of Biliteracy.

Grizzly Outdoor Learning Center
  • While the Logan City School District primarily utilizes the Grizzly Outdoor Learning Center for educational purposes, the center is also open for public rentals. This makes it a fantastic resource for families, community organizations, and local businesses looking to host outdoor events.

Grizzly Fieldhouse
  • The Grizzly Fieldhouse has been a great addition to the district. Its use is designated first to the LHS athletic teams. It is also rented out to the community during the evening and weekend hours. This is a great benefit to both the students and the community.
